Eli Tomalka is a Woodworker / Furniture Designer originally from Battle Creek Michigan. Now residing in the Hendersonville North Carolina, he handcrafts each of his pieces from his 900 sqft. facility.

His passion for woodwork started at the very young age of 3 years old, when he, along side his mother and sister, would assist his father in constructing his childhood home. Eli enjoyed stealing lumber cut offs from his father’s scrap pile. He would nail the chunks together to create simple sculpture forms for his mother, and grandfather’s gardens.

After graduating high school in 2018, Eli decided to pursue a degree in woodworking & furniture design in the School of Art & Design at Northern Michigan University. At NMU, Eli studied under multiple prominent figures who helped deepen his love for organic aesthetics, utilitarian designs, and figured grain.
